Research into music part 2

Using the discs available in the media room, I have found pieces of royalty-free music that could go with our film. Here are the examples and why -

Atmospheric and orchestral disc - Black Narcissus
I have chosen this one as its sets the mood perfectly. The slow and drawn out sounds add an aura of creepiness and fear to the scenes.

Sacred choir hymns -
The sounds of people singing let too much away. There needs to be some mystery to the scene and people singing cheerfully and loudly does not add much. Therefore, I have not chosen any songs from this disc.

Violin - Cassanova's Lament
This one has an aura of melancholy and memory. It's very sad to listen to but sets the scene dramatically. It is also one of Gilbet's hobbies; playing violin.

Orchestral - English Pastoral
In this there is both violin and piano. As Sky and Gilbert both play these there is something romantic about the two coming together even though it is a sinister relationship, if it can even be called one.

Upon group discussion we have decided to choose, Black Narcissus, as it fits the mood and scene perfectly.
